I'm talking plants here..haha! my husband hates them and I cant figure out why, does anyone else feel this way?
thanks!
I love Ivy and Oleander, why would anyone not like them?
ivy covered cottages make look rustic but ivy will eat
away at the structure and cause damage. it like you, can
run wild, if unchecked.
oleander has to be pruned to keep a nice shape, it is
also related to the dogbane family which might be a cousin
to the wolfbane plant and that, as everyone knows, is toxic to
wolf-men. therefore, one can concluded that your husband
while trying to monitor you is also afraid that you might
use it to destroy him. it was really simply a matter of
deductive reasoning.
Reply:I don't like them either.
Ivy can be hard to control and rats (!) live in it. Plus, it's just kind of uniform and bland.
Oleander is planted in the middle of the freeways here (California) so a lot of people get sick of it. It's also extremely poisonous. I've heard that children have died from eating marshmallows roasted on oleander twigs.
Neither plant has much character--except when ivy is let to grow on the side of a large building.
Reply:Hello, Ivy is an itchy plant to come in contact with, and as for oleander it is very poisenous, not paticularly good for gardens.your husband is right on this occasion.
