because of a recent infestation of oleander caterpillars. It is distressing, quite distressing, the hedge isn't even in my yard. They weren't here last year but have arrived this year and don't seem eager to go away. I don't like to kill anything. Anybody else have this problem?
I am watching an oleander die?
I wouldn't worry. I don't think anything can kill an oleander. They are toxic to mammals. Didn't know they had any worm pests.
Trucks run into them and light them on fire in the middle of the freeways here in California. Doesn't even phase them. They just grow out again next year.

I hope it will ease the distress.
Reply:talk to the local nursery expert. maybe there will be an organic way to help the plant. it may mean removing the bugs individually.
