For me, it was White Oleander.
I was an orphan, my Mom left when I was 2, and my father waws a felon. I went through babysitter to babysitter, and a fw homes, including an orphange.
For the entire R%26amp;S section, what movie really hit home with you? A movie that showed you where you live?
The Day After which was a 2 day mini series in the late 1980's. It portrayed life after a nuclear attack and how difficult it would be for the survivors.

War Games came out back when I was working on a military facility in the West, enough said about that - but it definitely made a lasting impression on me.
Emotionally probably a different movie - Dolores Claiborne hits my gut like a hard punch, why I'm not sure.
